Pappas Marketing Communications, formerly Albers Communications Group, was established in 2021 by longtime Albers employee Gina Pappas. Founded by Tom Albers in 2000, the firm has built a history of providing trusted marketing counsel to hundreds of clients throughout the Midwest. When Tom passed away in 2015, Gina continued serving our clients in the areas of public relations, digital marketing, and video production as president. Gina has developed multiple award-winning PR campaigns throughout her career. She is a hands-on leader who works closely with our clients every step of the way, from facilitation of planning, to overall strategy, to messaging and tactical execution. Her background in communications includes paid advertising, consumer marketing, public relations, and digital strategy, allowing her to provide comprehensive communications guidance to our clients. Gina is a member of the Nebraska chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Kristin’s years as a newspaper journalist and magazine writer give her valuable perspective into the media and allow her to strategically shape our clients’ public relations programs. Kristin has a knack for finding the hook in any story and uses her competitive spirit to secure high-value media placements for our clients. She received her master’s degree from Drake University and is a member of the Iowa Newspaper Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Emily has worked in leadership and management positions throughout her long career in the media industry in multiple markets. From writing, design, production, and content development, to planning, organizing, and executing strategies across multiple platforms, Emily provides our clients with excellent service and top-notch production values.
With experience as part-owner and office manager for her family’s business and nearly 20 years of experience at a national printing and marketing company, Laura brings her detail-oriented nature to the operations side of our business. Her depth of skills and background provide her with a keen understanding of our clients’ businesses.
